What better way to spend Super Bowl Sunday than on the football field... made 5 canyon laps today off flower point, various lines between Football Field and Banana. First lap tried to find something that would react, but even steep rollovers were stubborn and with hard force I could get some small slabs to break but they were fairly stubborn and didn't go anywhere with very little propagation. No signs of instability throughout the day but I would take this observation with a grain of salt as all the lines I skied are areas that get skied fairly heavy these days and probably don't represent other regions. On the last lap I could slightly make out what looked like a new crown on the most southern Skooks Chute. Other than being bitterly cold, never did get much wind and the sun even came out for a while.
