Took a short drive up the canyon after work to go look for avalanches in the park. Observed one slab avalanche on dutch ridge that failed on a south facing aspect near 7200'. Size 2.5 or 3. Observed numerous loose wet avalanches on steep northwest facing terrain of an unnamed peak (6850) near west glacier. All of these were size D1, but ran great vertical distances in steep rocky chutes.
