Quiet snowpack, eh?

Day off tour a few miles north of the US Border, near the Northern Whitefish Range

• 3-4" new overnight, another inch of snow and graupel today. 
• With periods of moderate gusts and moderate blowing snow, we anticipated finding fresh slab formation. However, the new and drifted snow appeared to be bonding well.
• We skied steep terrain at mid and upper elevations with no signs of instability.
