Early-ish start/ end to check conditions.
The sustained warming doesn't seem to be producing enough melt water to overwhelm established drainages. Only the top 20-30 cm of the snowpack seems susceptible to triggered or natural wet loose slides. More water - either from intense sun or rain - might change that picture.
Images to come.
to 6400 feet. Snowline on road at 4500 feet.
~15 recent natural wet loose avalanches on west and northerly aspects, starting above 6500 feet and running mid-path or longer, though debris piles mostly narrow. Slides don't appear to have entrained much snow below the surface. Hard to date. Debris in some piles didn't look weathered. 5/3-4?
